Schefflera are called the umbrealla plants as they consist of gracefully dropping leaves from a central stalk resembling an umbrealla which make wonderful tropical houseplants. The leaves are long and shiny and each stalk consisiting of around 15 leaflets in a fully matured Schefflera. They are considered to be one of the fast growing plants which add 3 feet every year if planted outdoors.Also, best time to plant these would be during the spring or fall. These are grown generally indoors and can be taken outside the warmer months. To display the vigor of their bright and colorful limb like flowers they have to be grown outdoors.
