According to the Greek, the carnations are called the “flower of the gods.” These are bisexual flowers which bloom effortlessly in a branched cluster. One of the most important reason for carnations to be popular is because they come in numerous colors varying from white to pink to purple and each color of carnation has a different meaning for example white for good luck, light red for admiration, pink for mother’s love and so on and so forth. Carnations grow to a width between 6cm to maximum of 8.5cm in diameter and the petals are clawed visibly.
