Araceae is a family of flowering plants that includes the genus Aglaonema. The Greek terms "bright" (aglaos) and "thread" (nema) are the source of the name. They are indigenous to New Guinea and tropical and subtropical areas of Asia. They are frequently referred to as Chinese evergreens. The easy-to-maintain tropical evergreen Aglaonema plant is perfect for interior environments. Large, glossy leaves that range in shape from oval to lance-shaped and coloured in colours of green, silver, and white to red, purple, and cream are unique to this species. They add brightness to any space they're in.
